Good Afternoon….there was an issue yesterday reported to the Office this morning by one of our members which claimed that there were youths playing football on the pontoons. It was also reported that there are members leaving the entry gates off the brackets, to allow other non card carrying persons from entering the yard.  We are following up these two issues but the Committee would like to remind members that although quite happy to accept your reports and follow them up, it would be much more helpful and certainly faster, if you could identify the Boat and Berth number from which any offender comes from/goes to. These reports will be kept confidential but will help us to eradicate this type of behaviour. The rules makes the owner of the Berth responsible for action of his/her guests and therefore we can tackle the issue from that standpoint. Owners cannot just wash their hands when there are situations were their guests/relatives are breaking the rules and disturbing other members.
