Members will have noticed that we are putting in our own Water meters in each pontoon. These meters have a dual role:                                                                                                                                                       1) To monitor the water usage against the Aqua Gib invoices. This is due to the fact that we are not in total control of our water since there is at present only one main meter (outside the Marina Office) and this has various submeters by the Super Yacht berths. These have historically been deducted by Aqua Gib from the MHSBM Invoice but the Committee is unhappy about the overall system which the Committee believe should all be under our control. We are at present in conversations with all parties to have this changed one way or another.                                                                                                                                               2) Given the fact that water is free to our members, the Committee further believes that there is wastage of water and abuse (by ignoring the fact that there is a cost to Water) by some members in their consumption. A report will be prepared and this will have a Pontoon to Pontoon consumption so that the overall water consumption can be analysed by the Committee.                                                              The Committee
