Good Afternoon….Over the weekend we have had an issue with a member entering the Marina with his dog contrary to the Rule 21.18 which clearly states “All pets shall be kept under direct control of their owners at all times, and on a leash when off the vessel. In the event of any such animal causing a nuisance, such as noise or fouling, the Committee reserves the right to insist that such animal be removed from Mis Harbour Small Boat Marina and shall hitherto not be allowed within the MHSBM perimeter.”. On top of this, the pet did his business, we suspect in full view of the owner, and no action was taken to clean this. This owner will be contacted shortly but in the interim, let me remind all members, particularly those that bring pets onto their boats, that any pet seen roaming the pontoons and not in control by the owner will have the full rules applied.
