Following various comments on the members page reference the existing Security guard support for the Marina and the Yard, I attach the duties as contracted.                                                                                 Mid Harbour Small Boat Marina

•             Control the cameras during silents hours.  If we notice suspicious movements during CCTV monitoring (12hrs) silent hours, we respond and attend. If necessary, we contact the local authorities such as police etc.  We can zoom in on the three PTZ cameras in case we notice any suspicious activity for verification purposes. 

•             We have MHSBM rules and regulations to which we adhere to in case any members are breaking the rules.

•             Patrols. We conduct six patrols from 14:00 pm until 07:00 am.

–              First patrol – Check pontoon main entrance and all Pontoons x 12 scan points.

–              Second patrol – Check Yacht Store, Main Office, toilets and full external Pontoon a total of 5 scan points.

–              Third patrol. Check pontoon main entrance and all Pontoons x 12 scan points

–              Fourth patrol- Check Yacht Store, Main Office, toilets and full external Pontoon a total of 5 scan points.

–             

–              Fifth patrol. Check pontoon main entrance and all Pontoons x 12 scan points

–              Sixth Patrol. Check pontoon main entrance and all Pontoons x 12 scan points.

•             In case of emergency or incident we have response numbers and emails to call.  Main point of contact being the pier master. 

•             Scan point checks are sent daily to the designated email address’

•             Photos any sort of damage whether relating to vessels or the actual premises including fixtures are sent to designated emails.

•             Any calls relating to MHSBM are logged with details of caller and pontoon number taken.

•             A static guard is placed on site in case of emergencies.

•             If anything is noticed we can verify the problem ourselves and then inform the pier master (i.e.) a door left unlocked, ajar.
