Good Afternoon….For information, we would like to advise members that any member whose boat breaks down and is towed into the Marina, can leave their boats tied to the external areas of the Pontoons. Bona fide breakdowns will be allowed 24 hours to either repair their boat, tow it into the Yard for repairs or tow it into their berths. Notwithstanding, they have to advise the Pier Master of this immediately the boat is berthed onto one of these “Emergency Berths”. If for any reason the 24 hour period needs to be extended, the Pier Master should be advised as soon as possible.                                   

On another note, The Administration is asking members to ensure that the Marina holds a copy of the RED BOOK and the BOAT INSURANCE and is asking that this be brought in or e-mailed to them at info@mhsbm.gi Please note that the Administration has a duty to check that all boats have an up to date Red Book and insurance before accepting the payment. This year and because of the changes, this was not totally complied with and this is the reason why this is being done now. We thank you for your co-operation.
