Agenda:

1. Forklift Repairs
• The secretary advised that the Fork lifter was being worked on and will continue to monitor and advise the Committee as he was updated.

2. Marinetek
• The Captain advised that we were still awaiting the overall programme for 2027 with Costings. He would follow the matter up with Marinetek with a view of finalising the 2027 Maintenance programme.

3. Water Leakages
• The President advised that there had been no further leakages but that GJBS were in fact doing all the repairs themselves with no cost to the Marina. Notwithstanding, he was following up the matter of the new pipeline with JBS. The Committee required the costings and the decision by the GJBS board as to whether they would take responsibility. At the last meeting, GJBS had admitted that the pipe had not been laid properly hence the leaks.

4. Budget
• The President advised, in the absence of the Treasurer, advised the Committee that the first half of the year had gone according to the planned Budget regarding the Marina. The Marina should show a surplus of some £40,000 which would be used to supplement the Investment by some £10,000 and some £10,000 for the shortfall in the Marina. This would leave working Capital for January 27 as the monies for the berth fees for 2027 come in. The President also advised that the Yard had done less than expected given the bad weather that Gibraltar had experienced in January through March. Notwithstanding, the first six months had shown a surplus of £25,000 although the Summer would take its toll as fewer boats would be lifted. The Yard finances will be updated again in early October to identify this. It was expected though that a small new loan already specified above were to be entered into to balance the books. The President will provide a monthly report on both the Marina and Yard accounts.

5. Arrears
• The President advised the Committee that some 13 members of which 6 had not paid the full amount. There were 2 awaiting confirmation by the Port that they had given up their berths and 4 that owed the extra fees applied at the AGM. He advised the Committee that following the instructions by the Port last year, two registered letters had already been sent and a third and final one would be issued to those that still had not paid at the end of August 26. This would be followed by a Disciplinary Hearing where the Port would send a representative after which the Board could apply the Constitution and expel them from the Association at which stage the CoP would need to revoke their berths.

6. Yard Matter
• The Vice President advised that following various meetings with the Yacht Club, it had been agreed to change the MOU slightly to change the different areas applied to each side in the plans attached to the MOU. This made the system cleaner from the movement of the Crane. The Vice President also commented on the fact that he still was not happy with the Per Master an explained various issues. The President said that the matter had been agreed to be reassessed in September and the Pier Master had been advised accordingly. Mr. Mahtani advised the Committee to ensure that the necessary letters/warnings were given and filed.

8. Meeting with the Captain and Minister for the Port
• The President advised members that the CoP had called the quarterly meeting although now six monthly, and this would be happening on the 19th August. He would give the Committee a full report immediately afterwards. The Operational committee would be putting in their own Agenda although CoP has called the meeting to discuss the Transfer of berths and the Boat sizes.

9. Member Request
• The President advised members that Mr. Chappory of Berth F21 had complained that the Tower where he has t get his feed if permanently used by the two boats there. Since this particular Tower has only two connections, he is unable to get any power. After discussion it was accepted to buy new 4 Elec Connection towers to be placed as necessary.

9. Contractor Request
• Following the change of the Opening and Closing hours for the Yard, Gib Yachts had written asking for one of their Boat Engineers to have 24-hour access to the Yard to cover for Emergency Call outs. After discussion it was agreed to allow Mr Davidson 24 hour access with two conditions being that he would enter the Yard to collect his tools and leave and secondly, that he should inform OSG before going into the Yard.

THERE BEING NO OTHER BUSINESS. THE MEETING CLOSED AT 18.30 hrs.
