Good Afternoon……………. we have had a problem with the water consumption over the last two months. This is a worrying issue as last month in Pontoon B we used 73 tons of water over a week period (we check sub meters readings once a week) although we did not detect any water wastage on the daily sub-meter checks. This month we have had the same issue with Pontoon F. Please note that each of these seepages have cost the Marina nearly £500 each time. We need to get to the bottom of this. We are therefore, as a first stage, urging members to ensure that they close off the Pontoon taps after use and remove the hose from the water towers. In this way, the Maintenance staff can see quite clearly if any tap is left open. Any hose left connected will be disconnected by them. Good Afternoon….On another note, we would like to remind members that have not paid their annual berth fees and Membership fee that the AGM gave a period of grace until the end of May 25. We urge members to pay these as at the end of the month the Penalty agreed by the AGM will kick in and also the members who have not paid will have their access to the Marna restricted. We need to have money to run the Marina/Yard and as I have said previously, it is unfair on those that have paid to be financing the marina for those who have not. Please ensure that you pay. THANKS
