We hope this message finds you well. As part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring the highest standards of privacy and security at the Mid Harbours Small Boats Marina, we have decided to temporarily suspend member access to the PTZ cameras and Hik Vision software.

This precautionary measure is to allow us to conduct a thorough review of our current surveillance system in consultation with privacy regulators. Our aim is to ensure that our operations fully comply with privacy laws and meet the highest standards of data protection.

We understand how valuable the surveillance system is for the security and monitoring of your vessels, and we assure you that this decision was made with the best interests of all members in mind. The cameras will still be operational for security personnel, but member access through the app will be disabled until further notice.

We are actively working with regulatory bodies to receive clear guidelines and instructions on the best practices for the operation of our CCTV systems. We will keep you updated on our progress and notify you as soon as access is restored, along with any new protocols or changes that might be implemented.
