Good afternoon all,

As advised, the Marina/Yard operatives are starting tomorrow under contract from Complete Yacht Care. The contractor will work following the instructions of the Pier Master although the contract specified that there would be an operative dealing with the Marina and another working in the Yard. A third operative would be needed in the Yard in the morning and available to help the Marina operative in the afternoon or as needed. The contract is a six day contract particularly to ensure a six day lifting operation in the yard. Over the next week or so, the Pier Master will be  working out work schedules for the operatives but will also be involved demarcating the Yard and creating a Maintenance schedule for the Marina. Please note that any member requiring work done on their Berth, can  contact the administration,  new contact systems to follow!

The next two weeks will be a very active time with various things happening, the highlight of which will be the final handover of the Yard and Crane to us.

I will keep you all informed as things happen but the following days, heading up to the 1st October, will be a very interesting time and one that will see all the changes that the new committee have put in place, flourish. Your help to allow us to prove this to you, will be needed. You will get another update later with a new system being put in place for your reports, complaints and suggestions so you can help guide us if you see anything that can be improved.
