Good Afternoon….. The Committee would like to advise you of the following:

1.            Members wishing to winter their boats in the Yard, should now contact the Pier master so that arrangements can be done. This year, winterisation will be available as from 1st October/November 2025 and will be for a minimum of 6 months. The agreed cost will be £10 per square meter per month, and members will get a free lift, pressure wash and haul back into the water. No other discounts will be available. Remember book now to avoid not being able to winter your boat in the yard. A non refundable deposit will be requested by the Pier Master to reserve your spot.

2.            Next Wednesday is NATIONAL DAY and as we have done in previous years, the Committee has agreed to relax some of the Bye Laws. Rule 9 particularly, which prohibits the placing of objects on the pontoons, will not be enforced on that day. Although a more lenient view will be taken, please note that open fires (BBQ’s) will not be permitted. NAKED FLAMES ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED BY THE FIRE SERVICE IN THE MARINA AT ALL TIMES. Please respect your neighbour’s property and ensure that nothing done upsets anybody and pay particular attention to the safety of all at the Marina. REMEMBER NATIONAL DAY IS FOR EVERYBODY.
