Good Afternoon….The Committee has booked the Mac Hall for the Thursday 30th October 2025 for the Extraordinary General meeting that was decided at the March AGM. It is expected that the meeting will start at 6 (time to be confirmed).                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Matter being currently prepared for discussion will be: 1. Report on Expenditure at the Yard prior to its opening in September 2024 as requested by the March 2025 AGM. 2. Annual Income and Expenditure of the Yard and the shortfall therein. Members to decide on the way forward 3. The state of the Sinking fund and the amount of monies to be set aside as determined by Rule 2 (e) (i) of the Constitution.  4. Water and Electricity expenditure in relation to Rule 2 (e) (vi) which advises on the setting up of a ” usage fee “. 5. Expected income/Expenditure of the Marina and the shortfall in Berthing fees due to the amount of Empty berths.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Members are asked to keep this date free as it is imperative that we have a STRONG SHOWING to determine the way forward for the Marina and especially the Yard. THE DECISION WILL BE YOURS. Please remember that not attending and then complaining on Social media about then decisions therein taken, is pointless. We hope to see as many of you there as possible.                                                                                                                        Please note that this will be a meeting to decide on the way forward and members are therefore advised that NO DECISONS HAVE BEEN MADE and so, in discussing any of the above as indeed we are sure that you will, please ask as many questions as you want in advance of this meeting but PLEASE DO NOT TO MAKE ANY ASSERTIONS AS TO ANY DECISION THAT SUPPOSEDLY THE COMMITTEE HAS ALREADY TAKEN.  The Committee will propose various things on the way forward but this will be for discussion and DECISON BY THE MEMBERS.
