Good afternoon…..This year like we did last Easter, the Committee have extended the OSG contract to have afternoon patrols to ensure that members, and in particular their guests, keep within the rules. This weekend already, we have had members complaining of kids riding their bikes within the Marina, blocking pontoons, loud music being played by some boats and generally some people making a nuisance of themselves. The Committee would like to remind members that the Marina is for all members to enjoy and the rules are there basically to ensure this. Any person in the Marina must have a membership card (can hold the Berth holder’s membership card if authorised by the Member), be over the age of 16 and ensure that he/she keeps within the Bye Laws clearly shown on all the entry Notice Boards. Members are reminded that any child under 16 must be accompanied by the member and that any incident surrounding his/her boat is ultimately their responsibility. The member has to ensure that whoever is in control of his membership card must be over the age of 16 and knowledgeable of what he/she can and cannot do. Ignorance of the rules is NO EXCUSE.

I URGE ALL MEMBERS TO ENJOY THE MARINA NOW THAT THE GOOD WEATHER SEEMS TO BE WITH US…..BUT AT THE SAME TIME, DO NOT SPOIL IT FOR OTHERS.
